Impartiality and independence
Commercial, financial, administrative or personal pressure must not influence examination, assessment or certification decisions. Conflicts of interest are identified, evaluated and controlled.
Equal access
Applicants and candidates are assessed under the same qualification rules without discrimination based on organisation size, membership, personal characteristics or commercial relationships.
Confidentiality
Application, identity, examination, assessment and certification records are processed through controlled access. Third-party disclosure is restricted unless required by law or an authorised official process.
Independent decisions
Role separation and authorisation controls are used so that certification decisions remain independent from examination delivery and commercial communication with candidates.
